First off let me say once again that what we did last night was really good, however there are a few ways that I think we could speed things up. First off is loot. Everyone needs to be moving forward to the next set of trash as soon as they've got their emblem. I was very guilty of not doing this myself last night it's hard to break a 3 year old habit.
Secondly is changing some things up on boss fights. What I'm about to say is somewhat of a drastic shift in what we've been doing so please let me know if I'm totally offbase here. Also, this in no way, shape, or form means I think someone isn't good enough for what they're currently doing, I'm just trying to come up with a way to make things die faster given the people we have.
Anub'Rekhan - Switch tanks so that Grexis is tanking Anub while Gk picks up the adds in bear and then switches to cat for some extra boss dps
Faerlina - This one will be a drastic change. Grexis pulls Faerlina to the far side of the room with Nykk healing him. Gk grabs all the adds and everyone blasts them down ASAP. Gk switches to cat form and everyone goes and kills Faerlina. Now I know that you need the adds to kill the frenzy, but from what I've read people in greens and blues on their first time into Naxx that didn't know better handled it just fine doing it this way. Yes I lost Gk last night during a frenzy and I take full responsibility for that because he was at about half health when it hit because I wasn't paying attention to the timers well enough. I think with two healers on him during the frenzy we should be just fine. Basically it will turn into a Patchwerk like fight with a bit of movement.
Maexxna - We could try letting Grexis tank this and Gk dps again, but for now I kind of like the extra health Gk has to soak the damage during the web wraps when no one can do anything. Opinions?
Noth - Again have Gk go cat and have Grexis just tank everything. I did so little healing on this fight last night that I was really bored. Putting all the damage in one place might help that and added DPS will make him die that much faster.
Heigan - No changes
Loatheb - No changes
Razuvious - No changes though we need to be better organized on his trash pulls
Gothik - No changes, but I think we can speed up the trash now that we know what it's like. Did anyone have a better way to split up the groups? Only thing I can think of is I might have wanted to keep one of the plate wearers on live side to help pick things up, but Gk did an exellent job so I don't think it matters.
Patchwerk - No changes.
Now I know that I pretty much just yanked Gk out of his MT spot. Again this in no way indicates that he's not good enough to do it, that Grexis is better (they're equally skilled), that I'm mad at him or anything else. I just think that everyone is doing so well that we should pour on the extra dps when possible and with the current state of the classes Gk is in a much better position to switch to a DPS role while still maintaining the ability to tank than Grexis is. The other option would be for Grexis to drop some of his tanking talents to pick up some more DPS out of the ret tree, but there are definite fights where we need two tanks so I really don't want to have him do that.

As for loot, everyone needs to have their lists done. I expect everyone to roll within a few seconds of me posting the loot item in the window. I'm going to be a LOT stricter on this in the future. Looting is taking too much time and if everone has a detailed list, they will know what they need right away when they see it.
I thought the Gothik split was fine.
I was only bored during the Noth fight and you most certainly did not die then. As for the other times umm well l2duck whirlwind. :P
I totally agree that GK's dps in kitty form is beyond anything my prot pally can do, but I still have my reservations on having him switch positions.
I have main tanked all the bosses we have fought already so I can do it, but my main concern is the spike damage that I'm taking. My damage spikes are much much greater than GK's and until I can figure out where and why they are coming, I'll feel better having GK tank most of the bosses. He is better at tanking than I am, and his bear takes a great ass kicking and gives it back as well.
Also, I'm not sure I want to change the boss fights up too much as it is. We have GK now living through Maexna, which is great. Also we have just started getting comfortable with our rolls. We're still not fully comfortable with the speed yet, and that's going to take a bit more time. We're doing great on speed, don't get me wrong there, but we are still jittery and scattered with it a bit.
Additionally, once 3.1 comes out, we will be changing things further. GK would go back to tanking all the bosses, and I would be the one doing the DPS. So we might as well keep our winning formula as is and tweak things for 3.1
The only change I'm comfortable with making right now as far as tanking goes is on Noth. The guy is a chump, and I can certainly hold my own on him and all the adds. GK's kitty would be a great addition to burning him down fast.
Gothic: Great fight, especially for the first time we have fought him as a group. I think the group split we had last night worked perfectly at least on my end. By the time we started to get mildly overwhelmed, the adds were over. We were taking them out quick and painless and I like that. The dead side can get pretty hairy if we don't burn down the adds fast enough. Unfortunately for the dead side, it can get hairy easily since the death knights split into two mobs for us. So our group make ups were spot on last night.

Umm in my defense I was on debuff removal at that point. Granted yes it was the debuff that killed you, but for that you'll have to blame your position on my decursive window.
So yes it was my fault you died that particular time, but I was far from bored during that.
