On To More Pressing Matters. LOL

"Why so serious!"
Actually I'm not serious, I'm in too good of a mood today.  Anyway, last night was another great run. Granted we started off rocky and only got one boss down. We still did a great job, especially on the teamwork front. Any night we get a new boss down, is a good night. It can get really agrivating with the wipes while learning the ropes. It makes it worth the agrivation when the boss finally drops and the loot starts flowing.  Grats to everyone last night for the hard work.

As I mentioned before, our teamwork was key to getting Grobulous down. Idea's from everyone, including Kirathis' research with this brother, GK and I switching spots made that boss fight a success.  That teamwork is going to help us get through the rest of the bosses sooner than later.

Same with all teams, there are always things to work on to improve.

Speed: Our speed at which we get through the content in Naxx is still going strong and we are progressing faster and faster each run. I couldn't be happier with the speed and only see us improving that much more. Keep up the good work on this

Vent Chatter: We've fallen back to the constant overlapping chatter during our boss fights. This was painfully obvious during the Gluth fight. GK and I missed taunts because of all the chatter.  It also caused us to lose focus on the fight as the overlapping chatter caused the words we spoke to be mashed up and incomprehensible.  I know it's tough to keep quiet when the fight gets exciting, but we must refrain as much as possible to ensure clear and concise communication.

Loot: This past week, we were still lingering while waiting for loot distribution. It's especially tough to break a 5 year habbit, but we can do it. I have faith in us.

Thoughts... my brain hurts. :)

The Grobulous fight was alot of fun last night once we got off to a good start. After tanking the boss myself, it's no easy task keeping that basterd in line.  He breaks off to the left or right and if GK and I wasn't careful, easily snagged several dps with his puke. However, I did notice that to err on the side of a faster speed helped out a great deal. It's definitely better to move faster than to move too slow.  A thought I was chatting with GK about last night, I may have found the perfect speed to kite Grob. It's still on the fast side but prevents you from moving too fast while staying ahead of Grob's piddles for the dps to do their work.  To do that, put your toon in walking mode, then constantly backup with the boss following you.  The boss will stand still for a bit, while you back up, then slingshot back up to you. This should give the dps some standing room to do their job before the next move.  Finally, the corners of the grates, as the tank backs up, instead of taking a 90 degree turn, simply do two 45 degrees turns with the boss to void dps from popping up in front.

For a side note, twice now we have taking down the bosses after my final call. Maybe I should do that a bit sooner. :)
