To say the last two days were eye openers is an understatement. In light of the news I have received from my fitness evaluation and my doctor, I am stepping down as raid leader and going on an indefinte raid hiatus to focus on my mental and physical health. This isn't something I am doing by choice. Its something I have to do not just for my family and friends but most importantly for myself.

This doesn't mean you guys aren't going to see me around. I will still be popping into vent, playing D&D or even hanging out here and in emails. I love all my friends and do not wish to give you up for anything.

I'll be post regularly here but most importantly on my other blog regarding my new adventure and how its all working out. I want to chronicle yhe quest quest for my goals and will share everything I learn on it. To get to my blog go to http:ipsandd20s.blogspot.com

Dude I totally understand. I'm going through essentially the same thing myself right now. While I haven't been told so by the doctor except for being borderline hypertensive, it's pretty obvious.

I've already started changing my diet and plan to start being a lot more active. I just filled out the paperwork today to get a personal trainer as well.

I hate to see you leave our raid, but your health is far more important than a game.

Alright I know that I won't b the last to say this...Take as much time as you need, as this last weekend proved, you have friends that will stand behind and support you.

The game and we will b here when you get back, just keep in touch and let us know the progress of how you're doing.

As Nykk said, we hate to see you go but without your health, we don't have our friend.

Sorry to hear things are not good for you Grex. it's a shame to see things turn out that way. Hope you do get better.

A hiatus is all that's allowed - no disappearing.
