Starting Over

I'm essentially starting over in my health program. I'm back up to 219 and totally out of shape. I've been really a slacker about going to the gym. Since I was on vacation I didn't really worry about what I was eating either.

This is the 1st week of my going back to the gym full time and pumping up my workout routine. I'm hoping to get my schedule to look like:
Monday: Crunches, Treadmill, Aqua-aerobics
Tuesday: Body Pump, Cardio
Wednesday: Crunches, Treadmill, Aqua-aerobics
Thursday: Body Pump, Zumba (Latin aerobics)

Body Pump (weight lifting to music) kicked my ass (showed me that I had really let myself slide again). Body Pump has lots of squats and lunges. This schedule should get me 8 hours of workout a week and leave my weekends free. It'll mix some weight lifting in with the fat burning aerobics and doesn't leave me too much to my own devices. I seem to do better in classes that on my own.

It won't leave me much time in the evenings during the week for WoW, but I'm having a hard time being sad about that.

Good luck with your goals. I agree with you that having some kind of motivation such as a class or even just a friend helps a lot. I've been slacking over the last couple of weeks since my trainer has been out of town. I started back in heavy last night and noticed that I was having a bit more trouble with things, but it wasn't too bad. Luckily I continued to lose weight a bit so I'm not too bad off.

As far as the WoW thing goes, I haven't felt the least bit of interest in starting again. Mod got me to reactivate for a Naxx run Saturday because I was bored, but it still wasn't all that enjoyable.

I think D&D should at least allow us all to get together again and have a good time. That was the main reason I continued to play WoW in the first place because of all you guys. Between the gym, softball, disc golf, and now setting up for D&D plus dealing with family stuff I have a hard time seeing myself as bored for the next few months.

Once again i've been terrible about consistency. I went to aqua on monday and will go to body pump today but had other plans the other 2 days.
