Yeah, I read that this morning. It almost makes me wonder if maybe it would be best to have your DK tank instead of your druid. Neither one of us have any ability to reduce magic damage like a dk can.

As far as the 1 toon per person rule I only did it because otherwise we would have just been frustrated with the lack of dispelling abilities. I didn't really want to do it, it just happened out of necessity.
As far as swapping the Druid out for the DK I'm rather ambivalent on the whole issue. I don't think it's really necessary. The Druid right now is still probably the top all-around tank. After 3.1 nerfs/buffs come through it may be worth re-evaluating. If everyone else is OK with it and you want to switch it's fine with me though we're raiding this week regardless.
Yeah, I agree with Nykk on swapping toons just yet. We would just be making knee jerk reactions to things that aren't officially out yet. Right now your Druid is still a much better tank in terms of damage eating. Although, it probably wouldn't hurt to start working on getting your DK some tanking gear just in case.
I still discourage the use of alts on our runs, but I will make exceptions if it's for the betterment of our raid. Previously we switched toons simply because we were bored and wanted better gear for our alts. Nykk switching to an alt for healing was necessity. We need a good single target healer. Pallies are the best in that regard.
As for Kira, it's a little less clear but useful for the raid as well. Even though I think his rogue is still better on single target mobs as far as dps goes. We definitely need more consistent aoe holy damage, not to mention that we really need the Replenishment buff.
Roflmao... You know, You guys REALLY need to learn to read. I am NOT making any statements that i AM switching toons, and for that fax we have no idea what WILL happen when patch 3.1 comes out. a: I was harping on nykk just cause! :P b: I still love the druid. ( love the DK DPS more tho :P ) c: Kira just hates rogues. hehe d: my dk has SOME gear, nothing awesome or anything. but good enough. and I would never think to swith out until he was PROPERLY geared. altho I think blizzard isn't going to nurf druids that horribly. [i hope]
I hadn't intended on swapping Araval for Kirathis on raids, only on 5 mans. However, should we collectively deem Araval to be the better choice for the raid, I will make the switch. I still reign supreme on single target dps but time will tell how that fairs. I guarantee my dps will be down from previous runs thanks to the shot to poison damage from mutilate.
I'm not necessarily opposed to Kira switching toons at this point if he really wants to. Heck my Ret pally in crap gear puts out really competitive DPS. There's also the fact that they give the replenishment buff for mana regen which is nice. However, it again flies in the face of our policy and it's not really necessary.

I can do that no problem. and it would help out alot for the DPS stops too that
need to be filled out. BUT. I currently do not have all the best gear for him for
tanking. I would have to work on that. I have been REALLY enjoying my DK alot
lately, and if they do nurf the druids( pleas read this as if and not me jumping the
gun ) I may find that my enjoyment of the druid waining alot.
However I did not want to suggest replacing my druid with the DK for our reason of 1
toon rule. ( yes I know nick thinks he's above the rules on this but you know.) :P
